*Instructions to Authors for*:

    International Journal of Oncology </ijo>
International Journal of Molecular Medicine </ijmm>
    Oncology Reports </or>
    Molecular Medicine Reports </mmr>

The principal aim of the above journals is to provide for the prompt
publication of original works of high quality. Manuscripts will be
accepted on the understanding that they report original unpublished
works on the cancer problem and are not under consideration for
publication by another journal. All material submitted will be subject
to review by appropriate referees selected by the Editorial Office. The
Editors reserve the right to improve manuscripts on grammar and style.
The corresponding author is responsible on behalf of all authors for the
submission.

    * *Submission of manuscripts:*
*E-mail submission.* One file including text and tables should be
sent as Microsoft Word (.doc file) to
      contact@spandidos-publications.com. Illustrations must be
submitted as separate files (.tiff format, 300 dpi). Save color
figures as CMYK files. Label the text file with the surname of the
first author and illustration files as Fig. 1, Fig. 2 etc.

              o By regular mail:
                Professor D.A. Spandidos
                P.O.B. 18179, Athens 116 10, Greece
o By courier service (overnight mail):
                Professor D.A. Spandidos
                10, Vriaxidos Street, Athens 116 35, Greece

    * *Cover letter*: Summarize briefly the main importance of the
      submitted work.

    * *Format*: Original work and review articles concerning fields of
recognisable progress are accepted for evaluation. Manuscripts
should be written in clear, concise English and should contain all
essential data in order to make the presentation clear.

    * *General style*: Title of the work, sub-titles and general
headlines should be presented in lower case letters (not
capitals). Indicate affiliations of the Authors by number (not
symbols). Abstract should be continuous (without reference
      numbers, or headlines).

    * *Manuscripts*: Submitted manuscripts should include abstract,
text, figures and references. Manuscripts reporting experimental
results should be divided into the following sections: (a) First
page should include the title of the presented work, full names
and full postal addresses of all Authors, name and the e-mail
address of the Author to whom correspondence is to be sent, key
words and an abbreviated running title; (b) Abstract of
approximately 150-300 words; (c) Introduction; (d) Materials and
      methods; (e) Results; (f) Discussion; (g) Acknowledgements and (h)
References. The pages should be numbered consecutively. Footnotes
      should not be used.

    * *Reviews*: Review articles may have different sections and
headlines according to the subject matter and the Author's
opinion; however, an Abstract is mandatory. The main headlines of
the review should be summarized as a contents section immediately
      following the Abstract.

    * *Figures*: Color figures are welcome, however, should be submitted
only if reproduction in color is intended (a charge will be made
for this). Electronically submitted figures should be sent in high
resolution (300 dpi) and color figures saved as CMYK files.
Figures in print should be clear, high contrast of the size they
are to appear in the journal; 8.00 cm (3.15 in) wide for a single
column; 17.00 cm (6.70 in) for a double column; maximum height
20.00 cm (7.87 in). Graphs should not require any artwork or
typesetting, symbols, numbering and lettering should be clearly
legible and of appropriate size. The number, and top of each
      figure should be indicated.

    * *Tables*: Each table should be submitted on a separate page, and
typed using double-spacing. Tables should be numbered with Roman
numerals and should include a short title.

    * *Nomenclature and Abbreviations*: Nomenclature should follow that
given in Chemical Abstracts. Standard abbreviations are
preferable. If a new abbreviation is used, it should be defined at
      its first usage.

    * *References*: Citation of journal titles follow the standard form
of Index Medicus and the references must be numbered
consecutively. Do NOT use full stop after initials or
abbreviations. In the text, references should be cited by number
in soft brackets e.g. (1-3) (1,2). Inclusive page numbers should
be given. Complete Author list is preferred, however, if more than
7 Authors, 3 names and /et al/ can be used. Following are examples
of order and style, which should be strictly adhered to:

o Spandidos DA and Wilkie NM: Malignant transformation of
                early passage
rodent cells by a single mutated human oncogene. Nature
                310: 469-475, 1984.
o Hall A, Morris JDH, Price B, Lloyd A, Hancock JF,
                Gardener S, Houslay MD,
Wakelam MJO and Marshall CJ: The function of the
                mammalian Ras proteins.
In: Ras oncogenes. Spandidos DA (ed.) Plenum Publ.
                Corp., New York, pp99-104, 1989.

Personal communications should be avoided. Manuscripts
in preparation or submitted, but not yet accepted, and
abstracts, may be cited in the text, however should NOT
be included in the list of references.

    * *Proofs*: It is of vital importance that Authors check their
manuscripts carefully before submission, because any errors will
be faithfully transferred into the typeset version.

    * *Reprints*: A reprint order form will accompany notification of
acceptance of a manuscript and should be completed and returned
      immediately.

    * *Page charges*: Accepted manuscripts will be published on the
understanding that the author(s) will pay the page charges as
      indicated on submission.
